Dr. Phil Levy presented CE Symmetry’s accredited lecture, Advances in the Management of Acute and Chronic Hyperkalemia: An Update for Emergency Medicine, Hospitalists and Healthcare Providers(MD, PA and CRNP), at the 2019 Society for Academic Emergency Medicine Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting for over 75 learners!
This program is designed to improve the recognition and management of hyperkalemia in both the acute and chronic care settings through a combination of didactic and interactive learning activities aimed at evaluating processes of care and adapting them to reflect new therapeutic options. The educational content will be designed to address the two distinct audiences described above. The content focus for both groups will be placed on developing rational and effective treatment strategies for patients that present to the ED, with or without admission to the hospital or for those patients treated on a chronic, outpatient basis. We will use multiple faculty combinations to create the most effective and robust content for delivery in both enduring and live formats.
